Vicky Kaushal is in the news these days for his recently released film, Bad Newzz. Recently, the actor has spoken openly about a strange incident from his time as an assistant director in Anurag Kashyap's film Gangs of Wasseypur. In a recent interview, Vicky recalled the incident of almost being beaten up by the sand mafia and their 500 goons.

Vicky Kaushal said, "The coal smuggling that was shown in the film actually happened. We were shooting them secretly, and some people came. There were 500 people around us. The camera attendant called the unit and told them that the camera would not come on time because we were stuck in some situation here. The goon slapped the cameraman, snatched the camera from him, and threatened us that they would break the camera. Both of us were about to be beaten up. We somehow ran away and saved our lives.”
