Recently, Indian cinema gained global recognition at the Cannes 2024 event. Deepika Padukone has shared her thoughts on this development. She says that the increasing recognition of our cinema is not because we are working hard; it's also because the West is becoming more receptive to Indian cinema. I think the West is realising that there is also a world outside of America.

Deepika added to her conversation that the film 'RRR' and its song 'Naatu Naatu' won the Oscar award, which helps Indian cinema connect with a global audience. She said I think the world become smaller and come together. So it's about telling interesting stories that resonate with a global audience.
